Nissa: Thank you DeathDiciple and huan for looking into this. With this the file is parsed two times, second pass will read IT data too. RootFolder = Path.Combine(TQData.ImmortalThronePath, "Resources")

+ rootFolder = Path.Combine(TQData.ImmortalThronePath, "Text") If you are in position to release newer TQVault version, this crude hack near top of FigureDBFileToUse function makes it display correct strings on my artifacts without assertion errors:

It reads correct file \Text\Text_EN.arc for base game, but only subset of it, IT texts are apparently in different folders inside the file. TQVault wants to read \Resources\Text_EN.arc. Seems they merged text resources into a single file. That's 2.3.0.4 btw, people seem to think newer ones are more buggy, didn't try.ĭefiler exe hacks are out of my league, no comments there. But the errors I had on recipes still stay - not sure if there are more items that cause that. Still, I haven't tried to see if "it's really there".ĭeathDiciple: Well the question marks on IT items can be fixed by simply making a TQIT.exe in main game directory - that will make it load the images. I wonder if the Hades chapter is fully implemented in this version? One easy way to verify that would be to use TQ Defiler and validate the first save point in Hades, just to see if the game can actually deal with the ultimate chapter.Īt first, I thought we just had the regular game without the append disc, but upon further analysis, the files for the Hades stage are included in the game data in "resources\xpack". It appears the GOG version does not care about save corruption once you've added or substracted stuff from your game inventory.Īnd you need to completely shut down TQ Vault before launching the GOG Titan Quest. Here, when you use GOG Galaxy to launch your game, the "play" button can be greyed and you may be unable to play your game as long as TQ Vault is open, even if it's just a window letting you choose between launching the game or TQ Vault. Rejecting it, in fact, is the sane way to go, because the program keps on working properly.Ī last thing : in times of yore, back in that era when we used to play the game on a physical media, we needed to let TQ Vault open so the game wouldn't see our modifications on a character's inventory as errors adn deem our righteous save as being corrupt.
#Titan quest anniversary edition defiler windows
An old school error windows pops up and asks you whether you want to consider it or reject it. I've got yellow blocks with question marks on 'em.īut, for the rest, it works. The items you get by redeeming certain codes in the "escape" menu, are absolutely not recognized by TQ Vault. Guessing based on faq, it seems as it's internal flag for immortal throne isn't being set and it's getting confused. On a side note, I'm getting question marks and assertion errors too, it seems it does that to all IT items. Except if you are a ranged character without any mobility you should just try to dodge its spells instead of trying to stack resistances.DeathDiciple: Ahaha, yeah, as you can guess I don't speak a word of french. When you see the Manticore rearing back, run in exactly the opposite direction from its mouth, as the pounce actually has an area of effect! The darts deals poison damage, so 50% poison resistance will help. You could max out poison resistance if you want, but it will not make too much difference. The pounce is almost guaranteed to kill you in one hit. Just try to avoid it, and run away if it hits you. The quills are not really fast and can be easily dodged at a fair distance.Įven with lightning resistance at 60-80%, the lightning breath will still deal a lot of damage to you.
